Top Hung Sliding Louvre Panels
Coastal 120 & Coastal 250
Top Hung Sliding Shutters use weight-bearing top tracks with a minimal bottom guide. This makes them particularly suitable where you want a clean floor line and do not want the full weight of the panel carried by the bottom track.
Louvretec offers two Top Hung systems — the Coastal 120 and heavy-duty Coastal 250. The correct system depends on panel size, weight, wind conditions and the requirements of the opening.

Why choose Top Hung?
Top Hung systems are ideal where a weight-bearing overhead track can be structurally supported and a minimal bottom guide is preferred. They are particularly suited to large sliding panels, windows and doors where smooth operation and a clean floor line are important.
Larger panels may require additional mullions and approved engineering depending on the wind zone and structural requirements.
Bottom Rolling Sliding Louvre Panels
Coastal 80 & Coastal 200
Bottom Rolling Sliding Shutters carry the panel weight on the floor track rather than the overhead structure. Two wheels on the bottom track support the panel while the top track acts primarily as a guide.
This makes Bottom Rolling systems particularly useful for larger panels or openings where structural fixing at the head is limited.

Why choose Bottom Rolling?
Bottom Rolling systems are particularly useful where the building structure cannot accommodate the weight of a large sliding panel at the head. The panel weight is transferred through the bottom wheels and track, while the top channel provides guidance.
The Coastal 200 is the heavy-duty option for substantially larger and heavier panels.
Larger panels may require additional mullions and approved engineering depending on the wind zone and structural requirements.
Bifold Louvre Panels
Coastal 100 Bifold
Louvretec Coastal 100 Bifold Doors are a top-hung system designed to fold and stack panels together, creating a wide opening while taking up minimal space when open.
Bifold panels are ideal for alfresco areas, balconies, outdoor rooms, patios and large openings where you want to open the majority of the wall rather than simply slide panels across it.

Maximum Panel Weight
Up to 100kg per finished panel.
Typical Panel Weight Allowance
Approximately 15kg per m² when calculating bifold panel weight.
Maximum Panel Size
3300mm H × 900mm W per panel.
Configuration
Multiple panels can be configured to fold and stack to suit the opening.

Important Structural Consideration
Because Coastal 100 Bifolds are top hung, multi-panel configurations can place considerable load on the head track. Suitable structural fixing is essential and specific weight loadings should be confirmed during project design.
